TV Game 2000K

Serial: 953511

Following Commodore’s acquisition of MOS technologies (famous for producing the later 6502 chip for the PET), the Pong-like TV Game consoles 2000K and 3000H made their appearance, connected to a standard PAL television via RF. It allowed up to four players to compete against each other in classics such as tennis, target (with optional light gun), football and squash. There are settings for the level of difficulty and the number of players and some other settings. The device was delivered with a 220V -> 9V transformer, but can also be operated with six AA batteries.
The writing on the system is in both English and German

The set included two paddles that could be stored in the device and another pair that was plugged into the back. A knob was used to select the game, switches were used for the remaining settings.

It was one of only a few pong consoles to use the MOS 7601 Pong-chip, another being the Commodore 3000H.
