- the built-in Fast RAM card of the A2000-A (which has only 512 kB Chip RAM on its motherboard)
- 512 kB RAM soldered on board (16 DIPs), 150 ns
- 16 additional DIP sockets accept another 512 kB RAM for 1 MB total
- accepts 256k×1 DIPs only
- maprom function
- possible configurations:
- 512 kB system RAM
- Kickstart RAM
- 1 MB system RAM
- Kickstart RAM + 512 kB system RAM
- connects to the CPU slot
